Wonderful neat rooms with excellent views, and a microwave oven, a fridge and coffee/tea makers. The staff were courteous and polite and the restaurant was super!

Staff and location were pleasant, we liked that everything was wonderful. The restaurant was superb and food was freshly cooked.

Clean hotel in a nice building short walk to the beach and Jeanette's Pier and ocean. Superfriendly, efficient staff with smiling face. Stunning location, walking distance to everywhere. Good service with freshly cooked cooking.

The hotel was fairly clean and upgraded, I loved its very good staff and location. The deck served lots of meals for breakfast.

It was beautifully kept hotel and we had an excellent stay. The staff was fantastic with local information. We had easy check-in on arrival.

Every detail was very good, including staff and location, I liked how overall clean the hotel was. I was offered a room with magnificent views of bay.

I reserved room online. On our arrival they could not find our name and confirmation in their computer file and paper work, It took a while, luckily I had a printed confirmation copy with me. There was no other room available, so they put us in a suite. We enjoyed our stay there, but we were not happy waiting too long before we got room. Morris Glessner

It was the only hotel available at the location we were at, but it was very nice and we enjoyed it. It was centrally located to our needs and priced better than any other location for the quality. We will definitely go back.

Ocean view rooms at a reasonable price.

The hotel was still recovering from the hurricane and as such they did a good job of making our stay comfortable give they were renovating. The hotel itself needs a good/major renovation so that the "inside" compares to the "location." Of course, then the price would jump, wouldn't it? It was a great view and nice stay for the price.

Oceanfront setting, outdoor pool, breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Most of staff seemed eager to please and attempted to address our concerns, however, management was disconnected from daily operations and offered only perfunctory answers to our concerns/suggestions....see dislikes below.

After we checked in, we discovered that a huge part of the carpet in our room was squishy wet. When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that there had been a water leak in our room the day before and apparently the carpet still had water trapped in the padding. They did offer us an alternate room, but it was not oceanfront, so we declined. Two different maintenance men talked to us about this and one of them attempted to remove the remaining water with a suction device, but this did not work. It did, however, leave a faint sour odor in the room. We had to put bath towels on the carpet in order to move around the room. We were not offered any discount on the room for this inconvenience and when we were checking out, we mentioned the soaked carpet to the clerk at the front desk and one of the managers (a lady), but got no consideration whatever. The lady "thanked us" and said she would check into it, but walked off with her cup of coffee in hand without asking any questions of us whatsoever. She seemed to be in her own little world! We won't be staying here again.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn South Oceanfront because they had availability for our family of four on fairly short notice, and they are indeed oceanfront. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

The hotel is dog-friendly, and while we love dogs, we weren't really thrilled with that aspect of our experience. Additionally, the lobby is like something out of a low-budget 1980's film: cream-colored pleather and "chrome" furniture and mirrored walls...odd.
